Michael Kubiak

President - Michael Kubiak is a long-time music producer, manager and publisher with an extensive background in public relations and promotions. He was certified by the NFLPA as an NFL agent, and he worked with NFL Properties for the athletes his company represented. He also served as a licensing consultant to many of the athletes as well as to stars such as Willie Nelson, Tanya Tucker and Kenny Rogers.

Mr. Kubiak’s relationship with Harry James, Jr. and Louise Tobin led him to work with them in deeding the Louise Tobin and Peanuts Hucko Jazz Collection of music and memorabilia to Texas A&M University-Commerce. He then worked for three years on the collection as a music and jazz consultant, and is currently working with the authors of a book on Louise Tobin’s remarkable career.


Chief Financial Officer & Business Consultant – Jeff M. James has a vast amount of experience in directing efficient and effective financial operations for a variety of industries. As Golden Digital Network’s CFO, we rely on his financial acumen and business prowess to direct the company’s financial operations, and to provide strategic planning and analysis, treasury, tax and other financial services. Mr. James also focuses on identifying business enhancement initiatives such as cost reduction, procurement, pricing execution, and other process improvements and innovations that add value to the company.

Louise Tobin’s grandson, Mr. James transferred from Southern Methodist University to the University of Texas at Dallas in 1986 where he proceeded to graduate in 1990 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. Through his diverse background as a consultant, he has successfully held positions as senior accountant, auditor, controller, and vice president of operations as well as director of I.T., director of human resources and various other positions for a business representing the fields of technology, hospitality and real estate development.

Louise Tobin

Chairman of the Advisory Board & Artistic Consultant- Legendary singer Louise Tobin, grew up in Denton, Texas in a large family that sang and played music together. She was the fourth youngest of eleven children and the only one to make music her profession. Her celebrated career began after she won a CBS Radio Talent Contest in 1932. In May 1935, Louise married the famous trumpet player Harry James and they had two children, Harry and Tim. They divorced in 1943. In 1962 she met Peanuts Hucko, one of the greatest clarinetists of all time. They were married from 1967 until he passed away in 2003.

Louise was the number one singer in the land while singing with The Benny Goodman Band. Her biggest hit with Goodman was “There'll Be Some Changes Made,” which was number two on the Hit Parade in 1939-40 for fifteen weeks. She had a long and successful career, and in 2008 she donated her extensive collection of original musical arrangements, press clippings, programs, recordings, playbills and photographs to create the Tobin-Hucko Jazz Collection at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Louise was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University in 2011.

Harry James, Jr.

Business & Entertainment Consultant - Harry James, Jr. comes by his love of music naturally. His mother, Louise Tobin, was a famous singer with the Benny Goodman Band, and his father, Harry James, played trumpet and led one of the most popular big bands during the 1930s and 1940s and through the early 1980s. His stepfather was Peanuts Hucko, one of the greatest clarinetists of all time.

While in military service, Mr. James was a member of the “Airmen of Note”, previously known as the “Glenn Miller Orchestra”. After an honorable discharge, he returned to college to major in real estate. In 1967, he was hired out of Southern Methodist University by Hunt Properties, which is owned by the H.L. Hunt family. He has been buying, selling and developing real estate throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area on his own and with partners ever since.

Mr. James has served in leadership roles and on the boards of numerous civic, charitable and professional organizations.

L. "Skip" Klinefelter

Sales & Marketing Consultant - We are fortunate to have Skip Klinefelter heading up our sales and marketing team. He is a decorated combat-seasoned Marine fighter pilot who also has an impressive track record of designing and managing national sales and marketing programs for major companies. A graduate of Southern Illinois University, Mr. Klinefelter is an accomplished public speaker with over thirty years’ experience, and is a Certified Emergency Assistance Program Counselor.

Gary J. Derer

Compliance Consultant - Gary J. Derer, MBA, JD, serves as our compliance consultant. He retired from the practice of law several years ago, after almost thirty years of practice, due to health considerations. He currently works with CVS/Caremark and with a few well-chosen projects. Mr. Derer helped to found and is currently the treasurer and a board member of EPPIC Ministries International, Inc., a non-profit entity that facilitates mission trips throughout the world, primarily in Tanzania, Africa. Gary has known and worked with Harry James, Jr., and Louise Tobin for over twenty-five years.

Hammond Burke

IT & Product Development Consultant – Hammond Burke is our IT guru, and has been on the leading edge of technology since the age of 16. In the late nineties, he ventured into the new world of web development. Ever since, he has focused on developing new technologies and processes for web apps, native mobile apps, and streaming video technology.

She is the author of Social Media 9-1-1: A Hands-on Guide to Build Your Brand and Business Online. She obtained a master’s degree in computer science from New York Institute of Technology, and has had a successful career in the IT industry and real estate.
